Welcome to my blog. I am the owner and lead designer of Edgewater Design. I hope this blog brings a bite size bit of design into your life each day and inspires you to create something new in your own home.
Jamaican born, I was more than happy to relocate to sunny South Florida in 2007, leaving the frigid winters of my much loved NY/NJ behind. Since setting up shop here in Miami I have worked with Sandals Resorts International collaborating on several projects throughout the Caribbean.
Interior Design is a second career for me. I first went to college to become an Accountant...that didn't work out so well. Not sure what I was thinking there, but I'm quite relieved that I was smart enough to take a break during my junior year to figure out what it is I really wanted to do. So fast forward one husband, three babies and several hours of HGTV later and tada...I figured it out.
In 2005 I earned a BFA in Interior Design from Kean University. Now I am doing what I absolutely love and find so much joy in designing spaces for my clients.
Oh and those three babies..they're all teenagers now.
